Today

In today's fashion, skinny jeans, converse, high heels, gladiator sandals, layered gold necklaces, and quilted handbags with a gold chain are the new trend. At least for teens it is. Girls are shopping for their homecoming dresses and their new high heels. Bringing their high heels to school, secretly seeing if they would be taller than their dates in heels. For women the new trend or style is gladiator sandals, black tights, white pants, Eco Stilettos, suede boots, and leather jackets. Some men are into fashion but most of the men I know are not. Like my dad, he doesn't really care about how he looks. He just wants to where something comfy. Well I think he can dress fashionably and comfortable with some help. And I don't mean a western shirt with tourist shorts and black combat boots with white socks going up to his knees. I mean a nice Hollister T shirt, American Eagle jeans, and a pair of low dunk Nike shoes. So I am hoping to try and make fahionable but comfy clothes for different types of people. And have it try to be more affordable for people with either minium wage or average wage.

New York and LA

I know I want to live in LA or New York. And I've been to both cities, they're the most magnificent things I've ever seen. It's weird at home in Colorado I feel something is missing and I know what it is. It's a big city. Whenever we drive up to Denver I get so excited and it's like I've found myself. That's how I feel about LA and New York. Big cities are the best type of place for me to live. My friends all say, " When you move to a big city like LA you'll miss this small town. And you'll wish you were back." Ya right! They don't know me like I do, and I know I'll never want to move back to a small little town. I love the big skyscrapers, the city lights, all the cars, the stores, all the new people to meet, all the new fashion trends, just everything about a big city is so great. Well in my opinion it is. I mean I'll miss seeing the stars and maybe the moon. But I'm ready to give that up if I can be in a big city. In Colorado the only two big "cities" that I can think of other than Denver, are Colorado Springs and Boulder. That's it. Unlike in California there are many big cities other than LA. Such as San Francisco, San Diego, Santa Barbra, Santa Clara, Fresno, Sacramento, etc.

My parents used to live in California but decided to move here. Why they did? The world will never know. Anyway for college I want to go to UCLA so badly. It's not even funny. So if I do get into UCLA and I do go there my parents have said that they will sell the house we're living in and move back to LA. So I don't have to fly so much back and forth to Colorado. But the only bad thing about leaving Colorado is that most of my friends or all of them have said they've wanted to stay and live in Colorado for the rest of their lives. So I'd be leaving all of them and starting a new life in California. So the only way I'd actually be contacting them is Facebook, text, and call. But for the job I want I will have to live in a big city. And I'm fine with that, I'll be closer to my mom and dad if they move to LA, my family from my mom's side, and some family from my dad's side. So that will be nice. I'm so excited to get out of high school and go to college. Even though I've only just begun high school.

Beginning

When I was three I wanted to be a zebra, yes I know it's silly and whenever my parents that story I always blush. At eight I wanted to be a vet, ten was whatever was on TV. And this last year or well two years I've wanted to be a graphic designer, corporate attorney, PR or advertiser, political debater, and finally a fashion stylist for a magazine. But not just any magazine but Vogue or Bazaar. Yes I have a really big dream and it might seem crazy. But I love fashion, looking at all the new styles coming out, what does and doesn't look good. Whenever I meet a new person I always look at their clothes first, then they're face, etc.

Some people aren't into the fashion and the looking good. They say, " Hey whatever's clean I'll wear." Then they move on with their lives. But then their are some people who have the worst sense of style I've ever seen or heard about. I've seen people with plaid shorts, a pok a dot shirt, and Converse. Not good......Anyway I know I want to live in a big city, and I don't mean Denver or Cincinnati. I mean New York City or Los Angeles. Those cities have everything, corporate skyscrapers, a lot of new people to meet, and it's a great place to work for fashion. Your probably guessing that I don't live in a big city. Well you're right I don't. I live in a small town in Colorado. So to many people here and else where, I'm trying for the high stakes. And I bet most of my friends think I'll never get there. But I know I will.
